CCTI monitors a variety of industry issues that can impact our members.  We represent companies around the world, who are part of the global supply chain.  Many of the problems found in the United States impact the global sector, as a whole. Several of our focus areas are listed below.  If you have a particular concern or question, contact us to see what support we can provide as an association. Supply Chain Disruptions: Issues such as delays, shortages of raw materials, cost of recovered paper, and transportation challenges can significantly affect manufacturing operations.

 

Regulatory Compliance: Navigating various local, state, and federal regulations can be complex and burdensome, particularly with changing environmental and safety standards. We can help connect you with state and federal leadership to get the answers you need and educate them on your industry issues.  CCTI is a member of the NAM Council of Manufacturing Associations and collaborates with almost 300 national trade associations on overarching issues impacting manufacturing companies.

 

Labor Shortages: The manufacturing sector often struggles to find skilled labor. Attracting and retaining talent, particularly in specialized roles, is a significant concern. Workforce Development and Human Resources needs awareness is provided

Sustainability Practices: There is increasing pressure to adopt sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, which can involve significant changes to operations and supply chains.

 

Economic Climate: US domestic and international economic fluctuations can affect demand for CCTI member products, making it important for manufacturers to adapt quickly to changing market conditions. We support our members with weekly updates and market analysis.

 

Cybersecurity Risks: As manufacturing becomes more digitized, the threat of cyberattacks grows. Protecting sensitive data and infrastructure is a growing concern. We connect our members with suppliers who serve this market and keep your sensitive data safe.

 

Trade Policies and Tariffs: Changes in trade policies and tariffs can impact costs and market access for CCTI members, influencing their competitiveness and costs. We work with the United States Trade Representative Office to keep you informed and updated on changes.
