How to Purchase a Classified Ad
The CanTube Bulletin presents a unique marketing opportunity for companies in the tube, core, and composite can industry. The CTB is published online on a bimonthly basis. The CTB is available for viewing at no charge to all CCTI Members and their employees.

You may also choose to post a Classified Advertisement under this section (The “Classifieds” Section) of our Web site. CCTI’s website is accessible to consumers and industry colleagues all over the world!
We currently offer a 15% discount to any member who elects to sign-up for a one-year advertisement contract in the bulletin and/or on the Web site. An additional 5% discount is given to any member who agrees to a one-year advertisement contract and makes payment in full at the time of contract.
To post a classified advertisement with CCTI, please send a camera ready PDF or CCTI can put together an ad for you, just send an email with your company’s high-res logo attached and be sure to include brief copy (wording) to be used in the ad, info@cantube.org or call us at CCTI at 202.449.9551 ext. 205.

Safety DVD: Safety Tips for Operating a Spiral Winding Line
This DVD, produced by CCTI’s Safety and H.R. Committee, focuses on general safety procedures for production crews operating a spiral winding line. It is intended to be used as a safety awareness tool for employees to help reduce workplace accidents by: teaching safety practices used by industry colleagues; comparing various machine guarding approaches; and, providing new ideas on handling and staging paper rolls.

Safety Video: The Hazards of Nip Points
This video, produced by the former Newark Group, is an excellent safety video that has received tremendous feedback from viewers. Many CCTI members have incorporated it into their plant safety meetings.

Safety Video: Forklift Operator Safety
A comprehensive video for anyone operating forklifts in the manufacturing environment. Teaches employees engineering principles, operator safety rules and routine maintenance.
Safety Video: Machine Guarding
Designed for employees, as well as supervisors, this video explains what machine guarding is all about. It includes detailed information on lockouts, tagouts, interlocks, two-hand trip devices and more. The video emphasizes that employee responsibility is paramount when working with machinery.
OSHA’s Hazardous Energy Source Video (Lockout/Tagout)
This program meets the OSHA requirements for training employees in lockout/tagout procedures.
Safety Orientation for Employees Video
This video, produced by DuPont, is a complete package to introduce employees to your company’s safety philosophy in a way that helps them see value of safe behavior. Employees learn that acting to prevent injuries benefits not only the company, but also themselves and their families. The Administrator’s/Leader’s Guide and Orientation Workbook for the employee can be ordered from DuPont.
Hazard Communications Video
This video covers important OSHA training requirements for all employees. It instructs employees to be aware of hazardous chemicals and materials in the workplace and to understand the function of MSDS’s.
Bloodborne Pathogens for Non-Healthcare Workers Video
Designed for all employees, even those who are not at occupational risk of exposure, to make them aware of HIV and Hepatitis B viruses that can be transmitted through blood or body fluids. This program provides the basic information needed to reduce risks.

Wage and Benefits Survey
This report is a detailed survey of collective bargaining agreements by union and non-union industry members. The Wage and Benefits report reveals detailed information by region about wage rates and increases, premium pay, supplemental pay, insurance and time-off benefits. It offers various ways to benchmark production jobs for manufacturers in this industry. This survey is conducted bi-annually.

Industry Directory (FREE LISTING!)
The Directory is an annually revised list of all known manufacturers in this industry. It includes product descriptions, contact names, plant addresses, phone and fax numbers. It also contains a listing of CCTI Associate member companies, their products and services. The directory is now available in paper or electronic version. CCTI Company Representatives are provided with one complimentary electronic copy each year.

Technical Notebook
This notebook is a compilation of uniform industry specifications relating to the manufacture, testing and use of composite cans, tubes, and cores. It is conveniently organized in a notebook format and includes: Recommended Industry Standards, Standard Testing Procedures, Guidelines (including Papermill core guidelines), Technical Committee Reports, Conversion Tables, Silicate Information, and a Glossary of Technical Terms for Composite Can, Tubes, and Cores.

The CCTI Technical Notebook is now available by email! All companies can now access individual documents, or the full notebook, via PDF version available via email. This format is available to all companies – regardless of geographic location (international companies can now take advantage of savings in shipment time and expense by utilizing this new format).

Machine Guarding Album
Compiled by CCTI’s Safety and Human Resources Committee, the Guarding Album is a spirally-bound photo album depicting guarding devices used on manufacturing machinery for production of composite cans, tubes, cores. Photographs include convolute winders; spiral winders; recutters; slitters; shredders and balers; forklift trucks; material handling, auxiliary finishing equipment; and safety labels, devices and sources. The Machine Guarding Album is updated every 3 years.

Can Tube Bulletin (Newsletter)
CCTI’s bimonthly newsletter is published online and password-protected for members only worldwide. It is an excellent source of information about issues affecting this industry, as well as updates on CCTI activities. See the “Classified” section for advertising opportunities. The CTB is offered to all employees of CCTI member companies at no charge.
Although the CTB is not available to non-member companies, all companies are welcome to advertise, as well as to submit news releases and information in regards to their companies or the industry. For more information, contact CCTI at info@cantube.org.

Tube & Core Recovery Brochure and Facilities Listing
CCTI developed this brochure as a result of the increased demand by the tube and core industry’s customers for the recovery of used tubes and cores as well as to be environmentally responsible. CCTI canvassed recovery centers in an effort to supply the industry with greater knowledge and access to industry and independent recovery centers. The list of recovery centers is updated annually.
Composite Can Brochure
The Composite Can Brochure was created for member’s use in marketing to customers and for broadening their client base. The brochure highlights the advantages of using composite cans and how creative a composite package can be by using graphics, shape, texture and materials to communicate the product’s message.
